The Job Description:
This is a middle manager level, and the incumbent will report directly to The Marketing Director, and be responsible mainly to maximize the return on the company’s media & promotion investment by ensuring the development and implementation (planning and buying) of strategic (consumer relevant) brand media plans that contribute to building brand equity and increasing profitable volume.

Detail task include:
1. Manage the media relations, advertising relations and media management
2. Owning and managing the media strategy for the brands with the help of media agencies
3. set and follow media buying process within agency and ensure achievement of benchmarks/ objectives for efficiency and media effectiveness
4. Leading the process of developing annual media plans and media buying for the brands.
5. Ensure implementation of media plans, consumption of media deals by co-ordinating with media agency
6. Preparing and providing monthly media MIS data to senior management
7. Facilitating the brand teams to follow the media planning process for their brands
8. Developing media innovations and media properties for the brands
9. Intitiating media nalytics to link sales/medi data etc and other relevant analysis to help make the media investments more efficient and effective and take media inputs to a higher level
10. Overall management through team/ agency:
* Reconcile cancelled/ missed spots, deal consumption with agency
* Keep a track o monthly authorization versus estimated/ actual spends
* Maintain all documents audit

The General requirement:
* Candidate possess a Bachelor’s Degree in any field from reputable University
* Minimum 8 years of experience in marketing management in which 3 years in similar position and has done marketing/brand activation/ consumer promotion) with Fast Moving Consumer Goods companies
* Good IT skills including MS Office and knowledge of media software
* Excellent negotiation & communication skills
* Have a knowledge in developing PR strategy, brand awareness, PR budgeting design programs and implementation
* Have a good network or relationship with media nation
* Possess strong Analytical skills, and proven ability to manage complexity and large media data.
* Excellent leadership skills and behaviours in order to guide team members to contribute effectively for goal achievement
* Willing to work in the tough environment (result oriented person).
